I've met this woman and she really turns me on,problem is I'm 48 and am naturally scared of trusting again after the last long term relationship and still have a lot of genuine love/repect for ex,even though she treated me like shit because she thought i was having an affair because I dumped her because of undiagnosed autisim/asd,that was a year and a half ago.i'm aslo recovering from a bad crunch.

I find this woman really attractive ,outside and inside.She's got a genuine peronality and thats more than half the buzz of it.

problem is i found out she's late fifties and i thought she was same age as me and now its got me wondering about such stuff as i'd thought I'd never think about ,like can older people still 'do it?' and if we do make a go of it then i'm old fashioned and want it to be forever.
She's not fond of motorbikes though.
I've never wanted a quick shag,i'm a soft arsesy emotional type into commitment and getting to know them a bit first before i pull out my impact driver.Any advice ?Not a troll (neither is she).

know abit about the menopause as I dumped my very long term ex who was a menopausal midwife.Its always been the deep an meanifull emotional one to one is one stuff fro me.Did'nt care about ex's physical changes as thats part of the process but can understand why the ex thought I was having an affair and thought I'd dumped her for a new model,as she did'nt know I had undiagnosed asd/high functioning autisim.

Without trying to be too blunt, can't you just take it easy to start with, do a few "test runs" and if there is a physical problem that bothers you then call it a day? If you find her hot then that is half the battle already won.

I think the problem you are having is trying to decide between making her your future bride and telling her to gtfo, there is a middle ground that is a lot of fun without a huge amount of commitment - that doesn't mean one night stand either, just have keep it simple.

i think I'll go for it,if she loves me then she'll put up with the new bike and I'll probably die before her anyway.Shes very young.In the last year I've had a few offers from younger women but my spinal nerves wer'nt firing the cdi in my crotch,sex is a minor part of it,although essential for 'intamacy',or shagging as the younger ones call it.
I'm still haunted and traumatised by one of teenage daughters from five years ago.She aked me and the ex 'to stop doing it'.We asked why and she said it was disgusting ,old people having sex (we were early 40's then) and asked us if we could do it away from the house.Obviously the young uns think they invented it!
