Bike has been really really really well looked after, 20,000 miles but full garage service history every 3,000 miles guy has spend over £200 every time, brand new tyres and chain and sprockets and pads and oil, really is a well kept machine.

Spent the last few days hooning around, racked up about 200 miles, saw 150 on the dash on this private road I know Wink , my first thought was 'this is just too fast'. Handles insanely well, Power right through the rev range in any gear, looks beautiful, so much more than the CBR. Strangely I find it more comfortable too, and I'm 6 foot 5?

Quick question about the fuel consumption though, reserve light came on after 80 miles :s however tank lasted until 120 before I decided to get some petrol, and then only accepted £15.50 worth of fuel. Faulty guage? What should I be expecting?

Do you like it guys? Any recommended mods? I love it.

I think they only have 16.5 litre tanks so that's almost 2 litres less than your CBR600 which explains why you're getting poor tank range, but not necessarily poor fuel consumption. Fit some crash bungs ASAP for good measure because you paid good money for it and want to preserve the way it looks.

Cracking looking bike, hard to believe it's done the mileage. I agree, looks a lot better than the outgoing bike.

welcome to 'club of awesome' Laughing The fuel gauges are sh*t on these - way off, mine comes on at about 80-100 miles - go to fill it up expecting it to be empty and it only takes about 13 litres or so. Thats just how they are nothing to worry about.
Love my k7 really cant think of a better sportsbike tbh, perfect amount of torque/power for the road. Suspensions a bit harsh but really cant fault anything else on the bike - worth spending a bit on the suspenders to really make the perfect road going bike, thats where il be spending the next cash on mine Thumbs Up

EDIT_ just read your 6'5" must feel like a toy to you - im 5'9 (and a 1/2 Rolling Eyes ) and i think it feels tiny Laughing

Cheers Covdude haha Thumbs Up Karma

SwiftB, weird isn't it, I shat myself on the way home I was 30 miles away and the light came on I worried all the way home that it was just going to conk out Laughing And yeah, I do sort of tower over it when riding Laughing

mines a 17 litre tank, only filled up it up once so far and it wanted £15.50 when it flashed up as almost empty

Seems about right then?

well unless you pay 0.90 for your fuel, no it doesn't. Should be about £20 to fill up a 17 ltr tank?

AprilliaNutter, got £1800 for it when it was listed on ebay for 3 weeks at £1700 with no offers lol...

JD, I really like the standard can fair play to it there's not many bikes these days with a can I wouldn't instantly change, I'm sure it will get done sooner or later.. I want the cat gone with a passion and maybe replace the downpipes as they don't look super shiny..

Darth, I'm waiting for payday so I can hit up the petrol! Laughing

Mmmmm, looks very tidy Thumbs Up

I have a K6 600 and can only squeeze £18 into my tank when the light comes on, not really a good comparison though as I can get more miles out of a tank.

I fitted some R&G engine slider things as well as crash bungs, fork protectors and swingarm bobbins. On a black/grey bike they don't stand out very much. Do you have stock footpegs etc? Are yours adjustable too?
