So I got my bike serviced at the local Ducati dealer and the bloke spent his whole time raving about ZX10s and how unbelievable his one is with his boss standing next to me!!

Surely that would piss him off?!

the bloke did not say one word back!

Same as raving about a Tesco's product when you work at Asda? It's called free choice Laughing

Not odd. I used to work for British Gas as a technician. Customers would always go on at me about the gas prices and my response was always "I wouldn't know mate, I only have electric!" And they would always look at me with shock on their faces!! Only jobs-worths live and breath their job!! Wink

I know a number of people who ride bikes who work as... CAR MECHANICS! OMG!

I also know someone who rides bikes who works as a SOFTWARE TESTER!

OMG! He rides BIKES. He HAS to work for a bike dealer as a bike mechanic. But he has four bikes, so he has therefore to split his spare time exactly between the four marques he owns!

OMG! Rolling Eyes

Daytona are no longer a Ducati dealer. Only Kawasaki, Suzuki and Piaggio now.

Not Ruislip - and I'd rather not say where as I don't want to slag them off.

Just making a point that;s all..

I know but they still service them and their Kings Cross branch is still a Ducati workshop. I thought it might have been the same guy that does my bike because he rides a ZX10 as well Laughing

Out of interest, how do you rate Daytona? My Kwaka is getting near to a service and they're my nearest dealer (I'd prefer stamps).
I was told not to go there by a friend as he had taken his Ducati there and was charged for work he later found wasn't done.
