Hello,

My friend purchased a tzr125rr 4dl on friday, his mate who races bikes took it ofr a 20minute spin and absolutely loved it. Howvere, my friend trurned 17 today went round the block on the bike and it died. When chenged the plug to a br9ecm which it should be and took it for another ride around the block and it was fine although very smokey which began to clear. however i then had a go and i came out of a corner changed down to give it some go and the revs just wouldnt pick up, changed down again the bike bogged and died and then wouldnt start. the spark seems okay the plug came out still looking fairly new not black just a bit wet with a few brown smudges. im wondering if it could just need a good blast after being poodled round the block or if it could something else. im sure its not the crank seals and it has £6 worth of petrol in it and starts and rides fine from cold and really does fly when it gets going but wont start or pull from low revs when its warm.

many thanks mark.

Strip and clean the carb, also check the 2 stroke oil is getting through ok.

Maybe get a compression check on the cylinder.

I take it you are warming it up? My RS used to bog like a cow when it was cold.
