I have noticed on my rides all over the place, that people just want us to pop a wheelie.
Are we just creatures to entertain the halfwit of this world?

Why on Earth would anyone call you a dick head? I sure wouldn't. I don't think I'd even approach you Laughing

Oh man, that's just reminded me! There's a small town I ride through on my way to work, and there's often a woman walking her dog just between the 40 and 30 signs into the edge of town, and every time I past at about 40, the dog's tying itself in knots with the lead and this poor woman's trying to calm it down until I've passed. The other day I set off late. Obviously, she's a creature of habit and leaves the house with the dog at the same time every day. I'm late. She's a lot further on with walking the dog. A good way on. I'm approaching at about 80. The dog's going fucking NUTS, trying to rip itself from the lead, her grip, the planet. I'm enthralled with this to the point I'm nearly losing it laughing. As I go past I see the thing in the corner of my eye going beserk to the point where it's twisting about so hard it's off the ground about chest high on this poor woman.

It's making me giggle just thinking about it but I bet she fucking hates me...

All chavs are hard 15 yards away. Even harder when they are in groups of three or more.

Very Happy .

I always give the little ones a thumbs up, a wave or a nod and a blip of the throttle, they seem to like it.

Thats what I was like as a kid. And My daughter will be the same. Wink

I get the odd wave and thumbs up either from kids at the side of the road or from the back of cars. T'other day I had a drunk chav still with beer can in hand dribbling over the bike.

Same here. I don't think anyone's ever asked me to pull a wheelie.

I quite regularly get stuck up posh cunts in shit cars like Audis trying to race, though.

I get Corsa's/Saxo's trying to race me and waving kids. Never on the CG, but pretty much every day since buying the ZZR.

I've had a few cars try it, mostly crappy chav wagons tbh. I like it when they try it after the pay booth on the severn crossing on the M4, it's like a drag strip Cool .

I get a fair few trying to race me on the GSXR, usually '90s sports cars and chav cars.

However, on the way home from the BCF BBQ I had a Porsche Cayenne (The base model third gen one) travelling at 110mph in the middle lane with no cars around, just sat in the middle lane because he's obviously too important with too expensive a car to go to the nearside lane, even though it's a piece of shit car. Rolling Eyes.

So I overtook him, gestured towards the nearside lane I was going towards where instead he just tried to overtake me again! I just rolled on the throttle so I stayed ahead of him during his (attempted) overtaking manouvre, eventually I just gave up as I didn't fancy doing 145mph past cars like he was prepared to do.

Rolling Eyes!

You do get some assholes, funniest thing to do with middle lane hogs is to orbit them:

Overtake then go to the left lane and slow down, repeat Thumbs Up .

Ha, the dog comment reminded me of going through this scratty estate in Leeds, (the fairfields for anyone local) where people walk around in their pyjamas and dogs roam free.

I was on the TZR 125, and this German Shepherd started running towards me, so I slowed down not wanting to hit it.

When I'd stopped it started walking away, but as soon as I accelerated, it would run after me again and I'd have to slow down, I couldn't out-accelerate a German Shepherd!!!! (at least to 15-20 lol).

Eventually managed to slip the clutch and make my escape.
