Some people believe that it is caused by the pistons rolling the seals over but to be honest with you, I don't know what causes this issue, I've only ever struggled to bleed the Tokico calipers fitted to Suzukis and Kawasakis.

After cleaning out the corrosion in the seal seats, I think the tolerance is way out meaning the seal can roll in the seat, this makes the pressure very lack luster.

The only things I can suggest to you is to leave the lever strapped to the handle bar over night, and remove the calipers from the discs with the pads touching and move them about to free up any air that might be trapped.

They are bastards.
Cable tie the lever overnight and turn the caliper upside down.
Failing that...buy 4 pot Nissins like I did Smile

I agree with Fortuna, a lot of owners just swap them for better brakes such as bandit 12 units or some Nissins are they are pretty dam good, my CBR and VTR brakes are/were ultra sharp. Thumbs Up

Is the bike on a paddock stand or the side stand?

if the angle of the master cylinder isnt angled upwards, any air in the m/c will stay trapped in there and give you hassle.

might also be worth taking the m/c off the bar and angling it upwards.
