Okay so I just can't decide what bike I wanna go for next.

At the minute I've got a Honda cb500.. And im bored.

Im only 5'1 , like touring but also wouldnt mind some power Razz
Relatively cheap, and obviously something i can touch the floor on.

It should be restricted, but im not too bothered with that aslong as its no bigger than lets say a 750?

Oh and good insurance..

Cheers in advance.

Thumbs Up

VFR750? If you want one cheap it'll have to be an earlier one tho. The later ones still command a premium, especially if they're in good nick.

Ill have a 1999 ZX6R thats restricted up for sale for around 1400 in a months time. Not really a tourer but I'm comfortable enough doing heavy mileage on it.

99 Ninja 600 would be a good choice, or any 600 really - CBR etc.. They can all be lowered to suit your height. I know a couple of shorter lady riders with CBR600's who did this, and were very happy with the bike.

Anything Japanese is going to be bulletproof reliable (generally), and you can pick up a high mileage bike for peanuts if you look in the right places.

What about an SV650S? Dirt cheap insurance, good on fuel, can be lowered easily, and tons around. Also really light when you drop it in the petrol station - ahem - with cheap parts. I have owned both the old and new versions in the distant past, and found the older carbed version nicer to ride.

At that height a lot of sports bikes might be difficult. If you just want the same as what you've got currently, but more power, more modern and a bit better handling get a Hornet.

You may need to take a little foam out of the seat then. My girlie mate struggled to get her foot down on mine and shes 5'2".

Well if its 'restricted' it isn't going to have any more power than your restricted 500 anyway if that's what you mean!?
I don't get it.

Your business, I hope you don't end up copping it and losing your license though.
