A possibly random question, but someone please humour me?

I've just picked up a set of Giannelli 2-1-2 cans for my '99 Mille. With the engine running, one blows hot air and one blows cold! Is this normal, or is something worryingly wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Laura

Could well just be the gasses taking the path of least resistance to whichever can it is that's blowing hotter air. Wouldn't worry.

I suspect the distance to one can is slightly shorter, or straighter than the other. Thumbs Up

Bizarrely, it's the rhs one (so the "straight route") that's blowing cold!

Very Happy

Still, nice to think it's not a case of "omg the bike is going to blow up!"

Fit a 2 into 2 Akra system. It's the only way to be sure. Laughing

start the engine and check the downpipes, if one is cold the other hot you have an ignition problem, if not, as said path of least resistance or what ever.
