Got half way down the road & my nsr just died, pulled over & wouldn't start again, called my insurer that specialise in motorbikes & asked for roadside repair so they brang a guy who knew nothing about bikes so asked him to just get me & the bike home, so It's the next day & still won't start, First I thought I flooded the engine, which isn't the case as It would be starting by now, sparkplug was replace a month ago.

What the hell Is the problem, this bike isn't worth the trouble, theres always a bloody problem.

I need someone to repair my bike in peterborough, so If you know anyone...

Have you tried bumpstarting it?

Might simply have been flooded and you ran out of juice trying to get it going roadside. That's best-case scenario really.

Another vote for the plug.

The one time my has physically stopped running was due to a spark plug I'd put in. It worked for a while too, then was just buggered. Got the AA out who put in a plug from an Old Fiesta, worked a treat!

Hi there

Yet another vote for the plug/plug cap?. I assume that you have enough petrol and oil etc.

Apologies if you have already checked these.

All the best
Mike

Try: in no particular order that i can for sure say.

Plug
Breather pipes
fuel lines
batterry
carb / filters inc air
new fuel
clean electrical block connectors
plug colour
compression test
coolant
oil tank

Others will be more specific Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up

Check everything then?

Possibly not as silly as it sounds.

Start with the plug; if you've got a good spark then check the fuel system.

If that gets you nowhere, move onto the rest of the list above.

Another one for the plug, happens quite regularly with mine. I just put it up against the frame and make sure it's a good quality spark. Check all the way down the Spark cable and make sure the two clips are connected to the botton of the circle box thing. (The correct term has escaped me). One of the two came undone on my bike and it was fucked.
