Noticed an eerie red glow outside my bedroom window last night - looked out and saw this:

Any idea what is it? I don't stay in the flat very often, but assume it's only been there a couple of days or I would've noticed it before. Any ideas?

Crappy picture, but it's round and has a red LED near where the cable connects.

On a more serious note. Could it be something to do with this digital TV switch over. If its in a comunal area then it might well be some kind of weird arial. We've had a few put up here but they look like the bog standard spikey arials only bigger than the normal ones you see on rooftops.

If its not that then I'm out of ideas.

There's an easy way to find out, cut the cables feeding it and wait around to see what logo's on the side of the van that turns up to repair it.
