hi lads and lasses

just wondering since ive read that some people on this forum live around the reading area, do you guys show your faces at these chav meetings and blitz some of these boy racers? i went along to cheltemham cruise a few months ago on my rs125, i was the only biker there then and was redlining it about and thinkin it would be good to get some biker backup

point being this sunday there is one on and im going with a mate so it would be nice to see some of you BIG BORE bikers showing your faces and puttin some over on the little chav fuckers!

Don't have a working bike at the moment, would be in a car, though my friend who lives right near me has a VFR400 so could persuade him to take us both down there Razz

Are you all about 5 years old or something?

Is it just me that thinks this is a stupidly childish and boring idea?

You'll get laughed out the car park.. think what chav cars are like when they turn up at bike meets, everyone just laughs at them and they go away.

You'll go down there, sit in the corner and do nothing.. borrringggg.. try riding your bikes instead, more fun.. Thumbs Up

it's a bit far for me to travel from macclesfield ace/dvd mate

although i would love to beat them all on the gixer4

go there on your rs though if you want some back up from here m8

and beat them all on the 1/4 mile 0-60 e.t.c

the trick is to pull along side them look at your speedo then at them in the pug 306 whatever and then put the bike into second gear and look at them getting smaller in the mirror lol

Boyracers seems to have some 'respect' for bikers, probably 'cos they know they get their areses whipped if they try one of their 'races'.

If I had the 9 on the road and wouldn't be at Reading Festival I would be quite tempted to go to try and practice some donuts; not only do I not care that I'm crap infront of a crowd like that, but it's not like I'm bothered by giving such a meet a bad name Smile.
The probability is that if the law etc turn up they will be more bothered by sorting the cars out Smile.

Agreed. At Southend the cars will usually give the bikes a big cheer if a nice wheelie is pulled along the seafront Thumbs Up

Only thing I would say, is we hate it when boyracers turn up at bikemeets, why should we do it to their meets. As long as they do it where they don't bother us leave them to it.

Believe it or not a good lot of "boy racers" are not "chavs" although it is fair to say they are not all sensible drivers - as are bikers. That generalisation that they all drive stolen clapped out 1.0s and are head to foot in sports gear is like saying all bikers do 140 on every road. I know a few people with souped up hot hatches who have good well paid jobs and drive sensibly for most of the time.

Don't spoil thier meets, some day you'll be surprised when a car leaves your 125 sitting (not hard). Most are also better drivers than you are on the bike and most care for thier cars in the same way you'd care for your bike. So you's have more in common than you realise.

Well after having to put on glasses to read this thread (the spelling is appalling by the way) I can finally contribute...

I don't know reading at all, I don't think I have even passed it, but I know the Madjeski Stadium is where Reading Football club play their home matches so I'm guessing this is quite a built up area, so would there not be quite a large Police presence? I know for a fact they will probably go for the bikers rather than the tricked up cars, if anything by todays standards are anything to go by. Rolling Eyes
