Seriously I had 2 lessons and passed with 4 minors.

Car test is much harder because the examiner is with your. On the bike test they are not looking what gear your in, if you are revving too much etc. You could but slipping the clutch in and free wheeling and the examiner would not know.

I don't think its the ability to ride that is the problem on the mod 2, more like the knowledge of the rules of the road.

I failed last week for not knowing the rule about turning right in a box junction, paniced and didn't go incase I blocked the junction then the lights changed back to red and failed due to ignoring the green traffic light.

I've been driving for 10 years, aced my car theory and 49/50 on bike theory, turns out that the one thing I wasn't sure on came up on my test! I think getting a copy of the highway code and digesting it before your test would do you/anyone the world of good and set you up nicely with all your on road experience, its certainlly what i'm going to be doing before my next test Wink
