I was going to pst this in the regional section for the south east, but I am not allowed access, so please excuse me posting here.

If you belong to a bike club that has an evening meet or guest speakers, would you be interested if a qualified solicitor or a specialist motorcycle accident investigator was available to answer all those questions that niggle in the back of your mind?

Nothing heavy, just an informal chat or presentation with the opportunity to ask the sort of questions you have always wanted to ask but may have been to afraid to do?, but also any criminal matter, so if you have a mate of a mate who is the brother of a friends aunt type of thing, then those sort of questions could be covered as awell, but it would be mainly aimed at road traffic law and accidents.

There would be no cost (other than a cup of coffee or tea Embarassed) so no financial outlay.

Just conducting a straw poll to see what sort of interest there might be, feel free to PM me if you would like to discuss further.

I no longer live in the South and was only kinda a member of bike 'clubs' (ie TRF and TVAM when I did), but I would have been interested in something like this.

Whether I'd have made a special effort to turn up is another matter if I wasn't already there.

Not sure who the current regional mod is, but generally it shouldn't take too long to be accepted in to the south east section if you've requested membership.

Back when I was a regular MAG member, we'd often (once a monthish) have peeps from the police, bike mags, St John's etc. around for talks. Pretty much enjoyed all of them, and if I were an active member again, then yes I'd be interested.

Old Thread Alert!
