Looks like it says the manufacturers name on the clutch plate.
Too small to tell what it says though.

Hi

Wheels look like XS250 or XS400 ones. Engine might be as well, but the sprocket cover doesn't look right and the top end is too difficult to see.

Frame just looks like someones home made attempt.

All the best

Keith

Ah, it's a home brew deathtrap 4000 i think you'll find. Likely made by someone with access to a scrap yard from which they can steal choice bits to fit together. But result in some very interesting and novel bikes that defy branding and model, can also result in some unreliable poorly constructed death traps.
If you're new enough to bikes to need to ask about it, it's almost certainly not for you. No rear suspension will make it a hard ride, no rear lights, mirrors or indicators will make the odds of getting wiped out a fair bit higher and replacing parts might be pot luck.

Looks decent for a home brew cruiser, though i s?

Had a quick look on Bikepics and think you might well be right.

The motor is either a Kawasaki Z400 or Z440 twin for sure.
Can hardly make out the logo on the engine casing, but looks like its KAWASAKI in italics - if this is the case, its definitely a 400 as later models used lower case lettering without italics

Agree with Kickstart about the wheels - definitely late 70's early 80's yamaha XS wheels.
