So, am I right in thinking that after the nasty (RS?) blue bike incident you took to cars instead?

Not knocking you fella, I remember seeing the thread and it was.. Shocked but yeah, good to see an older face back rather than the current 'new' bunch of retards. Thumbs Up

Yeh, bought a 400 to get back on the road when I was 18, wasn't realy ready for it so I got into cars. Had a few fast cars, but always missed bikes. Had a quick go on a mates rsv the other day and it feels like home being on 2 wheels again. so I'm taking the plunge.

Have I missed much?

Never bothered with that. I think the fact my jaw dislocated, smashing all my back teeth, which then gave the helmet enough slack to be able to slip off my head wasn't realy the helmets fault.

Doesn't actually explain why it came off unless it wasn't done up correctly.

Man, where HAVE you resurfaced from!? 7 years on form joining and you STILL haven't taken your test!? That said, you HAVE been in the world of restoring 90's french hatchbacks though haven't you?

Weren't it about 4-5 years ago you had your Gixxer 400?

TOT! Glad to see your still about. I'm fixing up a 205 gti as we speak, with a 1.9 8v race engine I built a few years ago. Smile
Also supercharging my vx220.

Think I had the gixxer about 4 years ago.
Took me test 3 times but failed for realy stupid mistakes.

This time I will not fail! Older and wiser n all that lol

The actual doctors report on injuries is far greater than what I thought had happened to me. I didn't know half of it until a month or two later!
