I want to do the best job i can on it, the hugger i have 2nd hand for 22 quid is pants, and a new one, fiberglass gloss black is 125 quid !!
So the carbon fiber hugger, which is the same company as the fender i just bought is the way to go.
My brothers got lots of different expensive saws, as he used to install large decks etc. So if someone knows a blade i should get for a powertool, then i'll be good to go.
Or perhaps what blade and a hacksaw is just as good. I've got a hacksaw, with some old wood or metal cutting blades. ____________________ Jogging on, destination living. |

I used a stainless steel cutting disc on a dremmel type drill when I did a yoke cover a while back. Someone flogs em on eBay, (wherelse), specificaly for cutting carbon. A bit tricky in the tight spots though and the piece I was working on was flat, not sure about the hugger.

...or a Dremel-type rotary tool, fitted with reinforced cutting wheels.
I've not used them specifically on carbon fibre, but they tend to be very versatile and effective on all but the hardest materials ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
