I have my mod 1 and 2 booked Thursday. Mod 1 at about 10am, and mod 2 about 2pm. If I fail my mod 1, will I have to re-book both tests? Or can I go ahead and do my mod 2 anyway?

If you dont pass mod 1 they wont let you on mod 2.

Its always better to book your mod 2 after you've passed the first because you wont get a refund at such short notice.

My advice is make sure you pass mod 1 first time.

You would have to rebook both tests, it is very risky booking them both on the same day if you are unsure of passing them both imo.

Mod 1 has to come before mod2 is what I have always been told I would check to see if you can get a refund on the mod 2 test if you fail the mod1 if you don't you will end up paying for the test and not able to take it.

You won't. You have to cancel quite far in advance (7 days?) to get a refund, any later and you lose your test fee. You can still book both at once, but leave enough time to cancel the mod 2 if you fail the mod 1.

Indeed, you're not considered safe to sit Mod 2 until you've passed Mod 1. Even if you ride to and from the test centre solo after failing. Rolling Eyes

Good luck. If you fail Mod 1, why not ask if you can do a "mock" Mod 2, since the slot is booked and paid for anyway? The answer will be no, but it's worth a punt.

I know its highly doubtful but its worth a shot asking in advance before you book it you never know if they will give in. Your never going to know unless you ask.

Dont you have to wait 10 working days before you can rebook either your mod 1 or mod 2 if you fail one of them? Or did I just randomly make that up in my head somehow Rolling Eyes

Yeah it's 10 working days to retake your Mod 2, but only 3 working days before you can retake your Mod 1
