LOL

a scooter limo, could be done but I think you would have a VERY hard time getting it through the SVA test, so really only suitable for show use I would say

Err, you could, but there would be a few issues.

It would seriously weaken the frame in several ways unless you used a lot of bracing. You welding had better be up to standard as well.

Going around corners would be a massive issue. Roundabouts also wouldn't be very fun.

I should imagine power would be an issue, especially with 4 people on it.

Im not sure about the legalities of carrying more then two people on a motorcycle, but it would Certainly have to pass an IVA as being safe to carry more then 2 people and for the change in passenger number.

So, if you were to actually carry 4 people without doing an IVA then you would be breaking the law. You would probably end up with a Q plate which would lead to difficulty in getting insurance.

Oh, and an iva costs £450 or about that (might be £475 now) plus £255 for a re-test when you fail it.

All in all, not really economically viable, but a pretty cool project none the less Thumbs Up

Cool, cheers guys.

Hmm, any way of getting round the test?

Perhaps just extending the seat and not touching the frame?

No because your still altering the number of passengers the bike can take. For it to be legal you would also need to mount proper footrests for each additional passenger. If you want to carry three passengers, dare i say it, but why don't you get a car?

I've got plenty of cars but none are as cool as a limo scooter! Laughing

I'll see what I can dig up.

Cheers
