ADAC
79 euros for annual cover. none of this charging you £100 for a 2 week holiday plan.
Covers the whole of europe, including the UK and the AA are their agents over here

Search the forum or google for ADAC. They are in Germany but speak english when you give them a call to join up.

What insurance comapny are you with?

Im with Swinton and whilst I was looking for breakdown cover to go to france with they phoned me and offered 3 months free breakdown in the uk and europe including homestart etc. Thumbs Up WIN.

Can just cancel when I get back Laughing

EDIT: It was only £6 a month after that so I might keep it anyway

I haven't had to use them yet, but I'm with ADAC too - as they're the only people that'll cover a 7.5t motorhome at a reasonable rate. Have seen good reports from other people that have used them, though think they often use the AA in the UK, which is a bit of a downside.

Have a look at AutoAid, £38 a year (providing you have means to pay when abroad).
