Well it's a start. Very Happy

Now the slider on my boot is all worn and I can take corners quicker thanks to BiKE's write up on counter steering a few issues ago. Thumbs Up

Read the same article. Thumbs Up

What are some of the other top bike mag's over there? I wanted to start a poll but BIKE and T.W.O. are the only British mag's that make it over here. Maybe somebody's already done one...

Had the 50 for a year but 35mph doesn't really count and had the 125 since the end of June.

Where's your "Tow"? I had to be taught countersteering when I was taking lessons because I couldn't get the tiny little 125's around corners at Speed Very Happy

Just move your toe to the place where your heel usualy goes when the bike is over. Then you dont have to have worn boots, as a result of cornering hard.

But where would be the fun in that?

The "toe" as in the plastic slider where your small toe would be in your boot.

Aye suppose it does Wink

Is the knee down much more? I reckon I'd be low enough to get my knee down if I put my cheek off the seat a bit and stuck my knee out. No sliders though, so it wouldn't be the wisest choice

Hi well done and all that but toe down is usually a sign of poor technique rather than massive lean angles...

Only time my toe touchs down is after the peg, and that's when I know I've gone /too/ far Laughing

Tuck your toe in and stick your knee out, you'll have your knee down in no time Thumbs Up

Usual time my toe goes down is when I'm accelerating round a sweeping left hander and go "Think I'll just have another gear.....Scrrrrrr...Ok, maybe stick with the one I'm in."

Before you all say "hang off more and get your knee down" bear in mind my seat height is over 900mm Razz
