RXS100 Oil Fouling.

Hi guys.

My RXS100 keeps fouling up the spark plug maybe every couple of weeks to the point where the bike will cut out on me and leave me stranded. I understand that 2 strokes are meant to be revved and I have been doing this but it is still fouling.

I'm looking for ideas as to where to start because I have no experience with 2 stroke issues.

GSounds like mixture. Wind it out 1.5 turns from fully in iirc. Little flathead screw. Not the one you can see a spring behind

Also.

Coked exhaust?
Has the gearbox oil level dropped?

My RXS lasted over a year and 8k miles with one spark plug. I would check the oil pump is oiling at the correct rate have you got a hanyes? there is a pretty good guide how to do it in there.

Thanks for the help guys.

It was definately the mixture screw as it was all the way in. I have wound it out 2 and 1/4 turns according to the manual in the specifications section.

Also, does 10w40 sound alright for a gearbox oil change?
