How does everyone else do it? Phone in question is an iPhone 4 and I'll need to be able to charge it as well as be water proof etc. Thumbs Up So far have seen this which ticks all the boxes for £38:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTORBIKE-BIKE-MOUNT-WATERPROOF-CASE-IPHONE-4-/170647080414

The charger looks a bit naff though, uses proprietary connectors so you'd have to buy cables off them to use other devices. Not sure where I'd be able to store that little box thing either on my DRZ, possibly under the seat...

Other option is a cheap water proof case like this for £21:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Waterproof-Motorbike-Mount-Apple-iPhone-3G-3Gs-/380337076828

And a tab lighter, or fancy USB one for £14:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-Scooter-and-Motorbike-USB-Charging-Port-iPhone-/120760092940

Not really that much cheaper but can use any device then... although I've no idea where I'd mount it and would question how water proof it is. Hmm.

Velcro mushroom stuff £2

Gel iphone case 50p to mount the velcro to.

Result: get bored of it before the battery even runs out and then happy you did not spend more on it.

I did this, but I also installed a cig lighter for £5 that runs from the battery and a car charger for the iphone for £5.. which isnt a waste. sometimes i shove my phone under my seat to charge it.

the usb wont charge the iphone, I had a usb cig adaptor, for some reason it will only charge via usb if it is plugged into a computer (its complicated)

I have not mounted my iphone since my test run. So I would not reccomend the water proof bag. If I did use my mount I would put my phone in my pocket when it rains because I'm cheap and cant be bothered chasing people up because their shitty case hasnt done its job and fried my phone Laughing

I'm using one of these, from this very seller.

It's been used in some pretty rough weather. it does get a little condensation inside but nothing too much

Just run a charger from a cigi socket through the hole in bottom.

Hi, not sure if your DRZ uses m8 bolts at the handle bars but this might be the better option, its not the cheapest option as its hard case and not the cheaper fabric ones.

None of the mounts in this thread are any good should you want to use your phone to record video or take a snap shot while on the bike.

Worth baring in mind.

The hard case i posted above has a camera cut out at the back for the iphone to allow you to record or take photos while the iphone is in the case.

OP didn't ask for said features, so why bare it in mind Laughing
