So will it play 45's and 78's?

The 4 valves look easy to replace.

Are you using vinyl or you hooking it up to CDJs?

I used to have a nice little setup that I sold a few years back, CDJ1000 MK2s and a DJM600. Just got bored of mixing in the end and I was never looking to break into clubs or anything was just a hobby.

CDJ2000's with an SV-1000 mixer

Yours for only £8,600 Sick

At last, someone on the same wavelenght!

I do it as a hobby but I do weddings and Birthdays and any other sort of party.

I use CD/MP3 players which is better than the cd players I used to have, I carry most of my old CD collection on about 20 disks instead of the 200 odd!

ok...on the top trumps of mixers you win!

but then mine goes in a box with CD players and travels around the UK and takes me about 30 minutes to set up (lights, speakers, amp, the lot)

Hence why I don't need a HUGE one

I have two spare now which are both going on Ebay

One is two channel and has been sitting around for years and one is the KAM DJ Pro thing I am replacing due to slightly dodgy sliders that cause cut out if moved.

Having just made 200 with spare gear on Ebay I am now about to pay for the Mixer with the spares I made buying a mixer.

I probably have the smallest mixers, notably this:

The future is in the likes of Traktor / Ableton Live / Serato etc. If I was trying to make it as a DJ, would definitely have a Traktor setup.

my setup is for recording so I use Pro tools and Guitar rig 4 and some other audio efx software
but use Alesis quadra-verb rack units to handle the vocals
I've used protools along with an M Audio interface to record live gigs from the desk to a laptop
