Since half the rufty-tufty bikers want to go to Legoland rather than Thorpe Park...

Shall we? It's just across the road from my house (and has some nice surrounding roads).

Closed nov-feb so we need to go sept/oct.

Yellow dudes. Cool

Funnily enough, I was tlaking about taking the girlfriend the other day (talking the other day, that is, not planning on going).

It is a bit tame for most people, as really it's a family place for small kids.

But the shop is amazing Very Happy

Pencil me in.

If you build it with lego, they will come.

Hi

Could well be up for that, but might have to scrounge some floor space somewhere.

All the best

I can see everyone getting very bored with legoland.

A day of "oooh look its lego"..."oooh a house"...."oo look a whole little lego village".

Could be part of G's birthday fesitval (someone put it in the calendar:P) so weekend of 2nd/3rd October or 9th/10th October. Saturday probably better as less chance of hang overs. What date then people?

Oh yeah, they have an advance booking price of £15 per ticket if there are more than 10 people, otherwise it's £18.90 in advance or £20 on the gate.

I'd be up for it.

Can't do the last weekend of september though.

Have you been to Thorpe park Luke? I went and thought it sucked more than Pleasurewood Hills and was nowhere near as good as Alton Towers. Confused

I hope you lot can resist the temptations of getting angry and smashing through all the houses of lego whilst watching Kids the age of 6 cry. Confused

Somerset, I'll put something definite up in the next couple of weeks to see if anyone else is interested but I'll probably be heading down to the Cheddar caves/gorge one weekend in the not too distant future.
No idea if anyone else will be up for it though.

I went to Lego Land whenI first came down to London. It was crap. Really aimed at kids, so not much for over 12s. Don't bother.

Wow

Legoland, I have never been and I really want to add it to my list of theme parks attended. Along with Gulliver's Magical Kingdom and the donkey rides at Weston Super Mare I would be totting up an adrenaline filled list \o/

I would most definately be up for that, especially is, as Keith said, there is floor space somewhere.

Can I bring my Brownies?

Well I /already/ have my Legoland Drivers Licence Razz

I'd be interested in either lego or thorpe... doubt I have funds for both!

Lego would probably be amusing to see all the bikers on the Cars - well worth wearing helmets for! I don't know if theres age/hight restrictions on rides like that though?
