Hi
I am new here, basically I am new in the area Motorbike. Therefore I have just been to Gumtree. What other sites are good if I want to buy a second hand bike?

I would also like to know some of the most popular bikes. Because when I by I bike I will be able to sell it quite easily if the bike doesn't suit me.

And, please if somebody could help me where to get second hand boots, motorbike clothes.

Many thanks!!

Smile

Gumtree and ebay are the best bets, other one is BikeTrader.

Auction sites are good, like Gumtree and eBay. Also try classified listings and auto trader.
If possible go and check out the bike before buying, and always do a full HPI check before buying. Check the V5c is in order, etc.

A popular bike that retains it's value is the CG125, or slightly more expensive is the YBR125. Bikes like that tend to be reliable (not the greatest lookers) but easy to buy and sell for a good price.
Yes, I know I've got the CBR125, but that was just a personal preference.

If you're worried about biking not being for you, then do your CBT before buying a bike (I would). Some places also offer a free taster session to see whether biking is for you, then you can choose to book your CBT after that.
