My 2007 gilera sc has recently been in an accident and has started leaking oil from the exhaust i have seen a similar post on BCF but no info on what causes it and and how to fix it it is pissing it out with oil and i have been told that it isnt accident related and wont be coverd under the insurance.

Any suggestions or advice on fixing it would be greatly appreciated i have tried an exahust tape did not work i dont know if it is an engine issue or exahust as there is a slight crack in the exhaust.

oh the bike has a yamaha dt 125 engine so dont know if that would help.

If the accident cracked your exhaust, yes it would be. Thats burnt oil by the looks of it... which could be leaking out of the crack in the exhaust...

Best bet is to clean it all up and work out where its coming from.

i dont think the crack was from the accident, they didnt include it in the insurance estimate.
