Just made some enquiries about costings/availability on DAS. Do these seem good prices and structure to any who are more experienced?

Typically you would be looking to do a 4 day direct access course, this consists of the following elements:

CBT - £130
Refresher 125cc - £130
DAS1 500cc - £165
DAS2 500cc - £165
Module 1 test - £15.50
Module 2 test - £75.00

Total cost £680.50

The price includes all motorcycle hire, test fees, safety equipment and insurances. You can run the course over consecutive days, or you could break them up over weekends for example, we are open 7 days a week. The Module 1 and Module 2 tests can also either be at the end of the last day of training, or on a separate day altogether, there is one caveat though – you cannot take a Module 2 without having passed Module 1, and we need to give the DSA 3 clear working days for cancel or change a test, so unless you break them up by 3 clear days you would lose the Module 2 test fee (£75) if you don’t pass Module 1.

Any feedback/information appreciated Thumbs Up

Looks OK, although I'd question why they want you on a 125 for another day - I'd get straight on the 500 after the CBT, and even see if there are any places that'll do the CBT road ride on a 500.

Also, I doubt that includes "all" motorcycle hire: ask specifically if there's any extra cost to hire a 500 for the test days(s), including potentially several repeats.

You'd normally get charged 1/2 a days bike hire for the morning/afternoon of the test. I really can't see any repeats being included at all either. Extra test fee plus extra bike hire fee.
