Hmmmm the few degrees motorcycle headlamps move with the steering is actually an advantage!
They have tried to get car headlamps to shift beam angle with the steering on numerouse occasions.... when you are going round a corner, you tend not to really want to iluminate the hedge right in front of you, but that dark patch to your left or right where you are going!
Its frame mounted head-lamps that are perverse, not handle-bar mounted ones!
Meanwhile, far more significant to what's lit up when you corner....
Headlamp chucks out a cone of light, normally angled down at the road...
To aid what's lit up, lense has grooving in the glass to diffuse the light and make the cone a tad more useful, and chuck more light down than up, and in the UK a bit more left (on Dip Beam) than right (So we see kurb, and dont dazzle oncoming drivers)
But when we steer, we also 'lean'!
Tilting lamp a few degrees to one or other side, is not a big difference, but rotating it, however much we lean, AND lowering it to the floor, depending on how far down we go?
Cone of light that in teh straight ahead position is lighting large chunk of road, fifty yards ahead of the bike, suddenly ti lighting, very brightly a patch of road to the oposite side we are turning, VERY much closer, due to drop in height.....
Actually turning the bars HELPS compensate for the shift in beam from leaning! ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
