I don't have anything long enough at the minute to check the alignment, I have measure from the centre of the axel bolt to the front swingarm nut and also the other side (axel nut) and the measurement is 100% to the mm.
I have also measured from the center of the axel bolt, and nut, to the back of the swingarm and again this is bang on.
Looking at some old pics, I think it may have always been like this, on the chain side I can get my finger inbetween the tyre and the center stand, but the other caliper side theres only a couple of mm gap.
Also, the center stand rubber exhaust stop thing has never been inline with the link pipes rubber.
Here's a pic to show you what I mean...

Does anyone know if I can adjust this stand so it sits in the center?

The clearance between my stand and the tyre is very small, as is the clearance between the chain and the tyre. So long as it can't move about and foul the tyre, it's fine  ____________________
