ive recently purchased a year 2000 ktm 125 exc and to be honest it was pretty awsome until it started playing up when you get into high revs and it begins to power band and then all of a sudden it starts to bog Confused although the bike has just had a rebuild so it has loads of compression wich is good Smile

Would i be right in thinking its a blocked jet or spark plug issue Confused

any help in solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated Wink

Clean out the carbs and do the airfilter would be the first port of call.
Is it used off road much?

If that doesn't help, then work from there.

Might be worth swapping the spark plug to see if it helps.

Could be the powervalve, though not sure I'd expect to see it 'bogging', just not coming in with the kick it should have.
