So I have another carb problem, shes had all the jets replaced, inline filter and everythings been going grand!

However as of the last week she has been running rich and has now finally died, she will sometimes start on choke but once returned to normal she'll die.

The main problem is that fuel is not getting into the carb, it'll run freely through the line when disconnected but not when connected. If I open the drain valve on the bottom of the carb little to nothing comes through.

I'am reckoning the float pin is sticking and not letting fuel through, and so when she starts and idles for afew seconds its merely using the dribble of fuel that intially got into the carb bowl and then dying because no more fuel is coming through!

However, how on earth do you fix a faulty float? Can't seem to find a new one on ebay or weemoto either, will have a look at david silver spares

Got the Haynes manual so it I'am ok there! I just manually filled the carb bowl and she did start bringing through petrol, then screwed the carb together, then put her back into the bike.

(with the bowl full she should have enough to run for a good ten mins on idle so if not getting the fuel through was the problem this should have proved it)

Then she would kickstart on choke, then I'd switch to normal and rev her like hell to keep her running. Upon returning to idle you would hear a sucking noise and a slight rattle and she'd die.

In general there is a sucking noise coming from around the whole carb area maybe even the engine? Even when revving but especially more so when she returns to idle and dies.

So basically I don't think it is the float valve anymore.... Bugger! Crying or Very sad
