I have a Piaggio NRG DD (50 cc) - when it's first started fron cold it is reluctant to pull away at all unless you max out the throttle and even then it s very slow.
When its warm you still have to give it a big handful before it seems to engage any forward momentum although it pulls off ok then.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

How is your belt?

Do you have a performance exhaust installed, also how are the rollers?

Could the belt be slipping? - i'm in unchartered territory here so is this an expensive repair?

There is a performance exhaust on the ped, it had new rollers 6 months ago supposedly before i bought it. Will the new rollers cause this issue i'm experiencing.
