Well it had to happen today, had a fecking shit day and was topped of by a lowside. Was only 30 secs from work, still on the estate, when a cager pulled out on me on a roundabout. This I could handle, but when he stopped to see where he wantedto go I found it a bit hard to swallow. rolled the revs off a bit quick and the bike just let go of the tarmac Sad The cager didn't even notice (or didn't wanna stop) and I was left to pick the hefty fecker up on my own. 2 cars passed while I struggled, but I eventually got her upright. One bloke did stop in his car. Turns out he rides a Busa.
Damage:
Broken rear brake lever, broken indicator, scratches and a little crack to side panel and nose cone, scrape on engine casing cover again!
Could have been worse I suppose.

Pisser. Sad

Ah well at least you can blame the engine casing on the lowside instead of the aborted stoppie now. Razz

Yeah Claud, deciding whether he wanted to go straight on or turn right. It's only a bloody small roundy and there aren't even any signs to peer at!

I'm off down to the breakers tomorrow for some parts. I *think* he broke a blade with a blown motor recently, if he did and still has the panels kicking around then I'll let you know when I get back in.
Sorry to hear about the get off, by the way Confused

Shite, sorry to hear that mate. Had a quick look on Alkamoto, but they've only got a right seat panel cover in your colours, and I'm assuming that survived? You came off quite badly tbh, Blades usually crash pretty well.

Sorry to hear that mate. So long as you're okay it's not worth worrying too much over though.

I'll keep my eyes out at work for any panels and the casing you need. If I come across anything I'll let you know.

All the best,

Scoob.

How can an employer justify sacking someone for such a lame reason? Only the same as being of sick and Employment Law stands very much in favour of the employee in instances such as that.

You should investigate where you stand and don't take it lying down (Excuse the pun!)
