Passed my MOD 2 today, but my insurance office is closed when I tried to phone to let them know I now have a full licence. I was covered to ride my bike on a provisional as long as an istructor was with me. I wanted to go out for a ride tonight ..... am I covered?

I'd be almost certain that you're covered to ride within the terms of your license, which means provision with a DAS instructor, L plates and hi-vis, or with a full license.

Your bike is going to show as insured either way, so you're not going to get tugged by Plod. Your call.

I was still insured as provisional until renewal which was 6 months later. But then I was on a 125 and apparently it was a 'volentary' action if I chose to change it.

Wrap her in bubble wrap, duct tape it round her to hold it in place, duct tape her to the back of the bike and get riding. Bubble wrap has good sound proofing capabilities so when combined with the wind noise you shouldn't have to put up with any of that "I don't think this is safe. I'm scared. I'm cold. I'm Hungry. I'm going to report you to child services" crap kids are always on about.

Well ........

she's 5 and CAN just reach the footpegs! I'm gonna get her some gear, and also there's a pillion strap that goes round her and attaches to me, I'm looking into that!
