help insurance confusion!!!!

right were do i start i had a chineese import bike and it has been broken down for 6 month so i decided to get another bike so anyway i got my other bike so i rang up my insurer i have 1 month left of insurance and i they wanted me to transfer over the details to the new bike which was going to cost me £60 pounds so i said bugger that for a month right i have no no claims discount cos of an accident i had but i got a new qoute which i might take up and i havent cancelled my insurance on the other bike is this ok cos i am a bit unsure please help

Provided you take out the new policy with 0 NCB (Since you're one month away from your first year's NCB) then you're fine.

Personally I'd just wait a month....
