Tell you what, I love driving the car in heavy rain. I put that down to getting soaked on the bike for so many years. I don't mind rain on the bike, it's cool when it's still wet but the suns out, IYKWIM. Nice in summer but not so in winter p'haps - all those leaves around and diesel and black ice and stuff Getting wet's ok, as long as you can get dry when you get there.

Personally I love riding in heavy rain with the visor open or the entire face up if its the HJC. Absolutely brilliant fun not being able to see where your going

I was once on the M5 and was caught up in some heavy rain.
I wasn’t too happy about it at first but then it came down so hard that it started to soak me through. It’s at that point you have to laugh, i was going home anyway.
