Just had mine today on my r125 and I really did not expect it to become more aggressive with its acceleration Smile

It's far more responsive since the first service, so I am less annoyed with it now Smile

Has anyone else experienced a marked improvement in their bikes performance (regardless of cc) after their 1st service (if bought brand new)?

I'm not sure that it is, as it pulls a little more now when I pull back on the throttle after changing gears...Mechanic said it would be like that as the gear plates have worn-in - some technical talk like that.

Will enjoy this for as brief a period as possible in order to make way for my R6 Wink

Only thing I notice after the first service on the new bike I had was the gearbox felt a little less clunky.

Come to think of it, when I change the oil in any bike I have owned the gear box feels less clunky. Normally followed by me thinking. "oh that did need changed after all"

Do they remove a throttle stop or some other go-slower gubbins at the first service? It's not completely inconceivable.

Have only got the CBF125 to compare with, it lives up to the "big bike feel" reviews. Stabillity is light years ahead of the cbf125 (can stand still for ~2 secs with both feet off the ground). Not as smooth as i hoped though, can feel the vibes above 6.5K revs.
