Would the twin light set from the 600 tenere fit the normal xt600e?

Also, (only collected it last night and not looked in the daylight yet) How do you check and top up the oil?

The oil checking I know.

First you need to remove the plastic cover between the tank and the handlebars. The oil filler is underneath.

Get the bike warm, preferably from riding, with the bike upright unscrew the oil filler cap/dipstick a bit, turn bike off, take out dipstick, wipe it clean, drop dipstick back in but don't screw it in, take out and read oil level.

Read in various places that after an oil change you'll need to add more than stated.

If, like me, you're baffled about how to get the tool kit out when it requires a screw undoing. Then look at the metal end of your key, it is designed (or rather the nut selected) so that it will undo with the key.

Also the nut that holds the plastic cover in place for the oil filer is the same as the panel nut so I guess it is designed to be removed using the key also. Make sure you don't do it up tight Thumbs Up

I'm waiting for a filter to turn up, glad i read this or i'd have lobbed a load of oil into the empty looking tank in the morning.
