Is it just me that is getting really pissed off with the constant rain? I've done just under 700 miles on my Gixxer 750 since getting it about a month ago and am starting to get really pissed off, I want a nice dry blast! Pain in the arse.

I feel your pain. I bought my first bike about a week ago. I have ridden it for 4 hours in 7 days. I'm so eager to get out there and ride but the forecast is usually rain, and will be for the next few days.

Just ride it in the rain. It won't dissolve and it'll make you a better rider next time it's sunny.

You want to live up here, twice the anual rain fall of London,
Im on the west coast of Scotland and if you dont ride in the rain you'd never be out.
Like previous have already said "it improves your riding & bike control.

Yep, it's worth riding in the rain. if you can clean the bike off after though, even if it's just a rinse with a hose.

I do it less now but used to do it all the time. If you have decent gear on it's really not that bad.

Has the Daily Fail worked out who is to blame for the bad weather yet? Gays or immigrants?

They haven't decided yet, but they have found out it causes cancer.

Don't get me wrong gays, I've been a 365 rider since my riding career began, I just don't have to use the bike at the moment I.E. work, uni hasn't started so I don't really have a reason to get out, I just want to have a nice blast!

Not amused by the rain at all. I ride all year round. I looked into getting another car, and was told to pay £1600 for a 1 litre shit box. So have decided I shall be investing in a none faired bike next so it isn't a pain to keep clean.

One slight comforting thought. I have Hired a bike in Rhodes for one of the two weeks we are there, so i will get to ride in the sun Smile

It is, cos everything gets rusty if you don't clean it. If anything, it's more of a pain. With plastics, you just hose it down and wipe it clean, they're smooth!

With your engine and stuff there are all nooks and crannies.
