Non bike related adverts are not welcome here. However if you have a topical product or service you are welcome to advertise it in the Exchange & Mart section or a special interests section (Supermoto, Racing, etc). From where I'm sitting it looks like you've been Googling phrases related to the product you're selling, stumbled across a 6 year old thread that mentions Autoglym, registered, posted an advert for your own product in there, resurrecting a dead thread and making yourself look a bit silly.

You've then gone on and put in a few other irrelevant posts (I refer you to a thread of zoo-related jokes in "random banter" which you clearly haven't read as you posted an anecdote about going to a wedding in a zoo in there) - each post serving as an advert to whatever it is you're selling (presumably some sort of cleaning product but I'll be honest, I haven't investigated any further) by nature of the contents of your sig.

Ordinarily you'll get karma-raped as a result of this and probably banned (though if you are genuinely interested in biking you may get given a chance to take the ads out of your sig and start over). At worst lots of posts will appear claiming your product raped people's grans etc which will make for some interesting Google search results in a few days. Neutral

This forum gets a lot of spammers, most of whom are robots, almost all of whom get instantly banned. I'm not an admin so a DM to point out the rules isn't really my job. I just get to karma-rape and sneer from a distance.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Have another go - write yourself a nice bio and go introduce yourself in New Bikers. What do you ride?

Learning at the moment. Saving for something like Kawasaki W650. Ex boyfriend had Kawasaki Ninja - pretty quick and a bit fast for my needs really. Something to beat the London traffic will do for now.

Anyway, have you been on the Stelvio Pass? It's supposed to be amazing. Unfortunately I don't like heights so may not make it ever Sad

It does indeed look awesome. I haven't been and as the missus prefers her holidays to involve diving and then lying next to a pool in the sun so it's unlikely I'll get the opportunity soon. I love Italy though, so maybe one day. The bike is just for hooning around country lanes on at the moment.

I know loads of people (myself included) who claim not to want a fast bike but get bored and buy something faster every few months. I now have an FZ1 Fazer which is faster than my brain can handle. My other half went from a 125 to a 650 within a year.

I'm with the missus with the pool and sun though but I hope you get the chance to ride the pass one day. There's some great coast roads in Italy too near Sorrento...

probably the best place to read info about stelvio and other mountain passes is the alpineroads forum up to date info on seasonal opening/closing times can be found there. You might also get a copy of john Hermann`s book "Motorcycle journeys through the alps and beyond" to give yourself some inspiration
