Noticed over the past few days that sometimes the low beam won't come on when I turn the ignition to ON or start the bike, pressing the PASS button will illuminate, as will high beam, but not low beam.

If I turn the ignition to PARK then the hazards don't come on.

Google tells me that this is a common problem with a solder point in the right hand switch gear (Red and Black wire).

Has anyone had experience of this problem? My soldering skills haven't been put to the test for many many years but it seriously annoys me that I have to do this for a common problem that should have been recalled.

Cheers in advance.

Have you tried a new bulb.

Have you checked the fuse.

Is there a relay that switches the headlight 'Low Beam' circuitry?

The 'PASS' switch operates only the High beam.
