When I took my Mod one the other week, there was a sign saying that people wearing inappropriate clothing would be refused a test. It did list trainers as not appropriate, but if they're solid type then it's probably up to the tester. My advice would be to wear boots if they possibly can. ____________________ Honda Goldwing GL 1000 Current love

Did my test a month ago, and the training school had a note up saying what wasn't suitable. It was along the lines of:
Flip Flops
Sandals
Training shoes IE running, golf, astroturf trainers,
deck shoes
fashion trainers
Or something along those lines, so I would probably say it's best to get some boots - even if they are army surplus, and get used to the controls while wearing them.
