 |
|
Hi folks
I have my theory next week (fingers crossed) and I've seen mention of a HPT app for iPhones/smart phones. I've taken a look and there's LOADS!!
Does anyone have suggestion of one they've used that's reasonably good? I'm confident enough on the multiple choice but really want to brush up on the HPT vids.
Thanks! ____________________ 'Just erotic. Nothing kinky. It's the difference between using a feather and using a chicken.'

I used the HPT 1 and 2 iPhone apps, and also the motorcycle thoery test app. Highly recommend ____________________ Rides Honda CB500S aka "The Orange Peril" |

I don't have an I-Phone so had to rely on internet. I used:
https://www.billplant.co.uk/hazard/hazard.php
I done my theory today (only booked it yesterday and passed woo-hoo) and that was one of the more accurate ones I have seen. It also has 10 clips straight after the other which is good to help you stay focused.
When you go for your test make sure they clarify it is for motorcycle. I went in today and the bloke stated it was for a car so I corrected him. He sent me to the next bloke in charge of the room and he said the same thing
I'm not sure if it was just me but the multiple choice was harder than I expected and the HPT was easier.
Try and get in a habit of focusing as far down the road as you can especially on the country lane ones, you'll see the hazard developing much sooner.
Good luck. |

I only just failed mine first time round on the Hazard perception which really sent me nuclear as I saw the hazards happening way early and miss timed my clicks.
I have now passed it with clear marks and still think it's bloody ridiculous. Good for a newby, not for someone who has road experience.
Anyway to practice the timing how 'they' want I found this the best one to use that also incorporated anti cheat to stop you from spamming the click button.
Usually get 60 or more on this now including a failed clip.

As for an app version, I would bet it would be crap as low res video on a small screen would make it that much more difficult.
Just grab a bottle of vodka and kill a few hours one evening going through it continuously, worked for me |
