Damn todays been shite!! but good

Had a job interview today in london
had to ride in from dover, no biggie done it on my old 125 many times.

so i get the phone out to check the time, "insert sim" oh phones decided to break.

Regardless i carry on my day thinking my bike would break down when i have no phone to call for help.

I start my journey into london along the m2 i notice my bikes getting a little hot just past the medway services, so i slow down a little and take a slow plod but still quite toasty, pull into the cobham services on the a2 fill up let the bike cool.

Get ready to pull off drop my glove, get off pick it up back on bike helmet on forgot earphones, helmet off earphones in dropped both gloves, Getting quite annoyed at this point but finaly get sorted.

Pull out down the sliproad up to the roundabout to rejoin the a2, start pulling out, BAM! a cage comes flying round the roundabout had to give it the beans to avoid being hit, but finaly got to my destination.

On way back noticed bike was near top of temp gauge so slowed but not much change, turned off the a2 at barham popped into arters garage for a cool off and a cig let bike cool, gave it some of the free water nice and cool lets go, about a mile down the road overheating! ffs!!! poodled home at 50 found out it was a dodgey thermostat ¬¬ turns out the thermostat on the bros 400 is burried big time, then i got a call from the interviewer...

I GOT THE JOB.

Now i will be doing weekend commutes to london to work on the club doors again

Congrats on the job. You must be over the moon, especially finding out so quickly.

My day: Bad - Good - Bad

Bad - Student finance have "beeped" up my application (starting Uni for first time this year) yet again and will need re-assessed which will take up to 4 weeks. 1st payment is meant to go in, in just over 2 weeks time. It's been a royal headache!

Good - On Wed booked my theory online, they had a slot for yesterday at 3pm, so jumped at the chance. Then thought hmmm that gives me about 16 hours to revise . Passed with 48 and 52 so was over the moon.

Bad - Was home from Theory less than an hour when got a phone call from my girlfriends Dad. To cut a long story short, a pre-existing condition has lead to my gf's mother now being in hospital. She has vascular dementia and is deteriorating quickly which is stressing the family, as you could imagine. My gf is 5 months pregnant so i'm getting stressed that she is getting too stressed.
