180 a set for tyres is quite good...my current tyres are £250 a set..
Was going to recommend Pirelli Angel ST... but it sounds like you are a peasant they are quite expensive, but last FOREVER.

I can second the angels - they are awesome, no slides or scary moments and good in the wet.
Have had 4k on mine now and they have loads of tread left.
Think you'll struggle to find non shit dual compound tyres for less than £180. |
