Six weeks today since I had a total right hip replacement. The surgeon said it may take me six months to recover, I told him I would do it in six weeks.
Been back in school since the start of term on Monday (reduced timetable due to Nazis on local authority but I have demanded a review next Friday). I had my first post op review by the surgeon's team today and they said progress is so good they will call for me in nine months,
Physio said I was a nutter
Feeling quite chuffed ____________________ Bikers make great organ donors, get 115 on your licence today. |

Not had a hip replacement just yet, but ive had quite a few smashed bones. Imo the more you do, the better you get overall. Physio is far too little. Ignore it and push harder ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. Well done mate. Too many people see these things as an excuse to go on the sick forever. |

To be fair, they've probably noticed your sandals but are too polite to point and giggle |

I might ask you to write me a letter, explaining what you did pre-op and post-op...because one of the clients at my place is to undergo a hip replacement himself, but is very negative about it (he had a stroke at a very young age and fell over and smashed his hip). Just to see if it would inspire him any.
Do take it easy though, don't push yourself too much...remember to listen to your body...it knows best. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

But not, apparently, how to punctuate.[/quote]
Well if you look closely, you will notice that the unpunctuated bits are just phrases not sentences.
as "100 lines of" is not a sentence, neither is "on my desk by tomorrow"
"bcf spelling police" or "helping teachers everywhere to learn to spell"
Punctuating something to give it the appearance of a full sentence when it isn't a sentence, would be incorrect.
"Put it on my desk by tomorrow" or "BCF spelling police help teachers everywhere to learn to spell" just wouldn't have the same impact.
Sometimes commands, and slogans which aren't sentences and so shouldn't be punctuated, are where it's at. ____________________ colin1 is officially faster than god
