Right, now that I am actually looking for a job (i.e. down to job center every day, riding around town asking people if they have positions etc), I feel entitled to jobseeker's at last. So When that comes through it'll be the first proper money I've had since may.

Now the NSR is 2000 miles overdue a top end rebuild, and I've not had money to spend on the bike at all, so when the money starts coming through, what, in addition to the rebuild, do you recommend I should have done to the bike service wise (oil filter etc).,

Smile

Well basically my NSR took 17000 miles of pretty heavy abuse before letting go. I reckon you could get away with 13K easy if you look after it. Even after my engine let go it only cost £300 to replace the internals.

I reckon you'll be okay with just a gearbox oil/chain and sprockets change.

Thumbs Up

Replace chain and sprockets after 5k miles?!

They're fine the chain's in good wack and the sprockets barely have the paint work off Shocked .
