Cleaning carbon fibre

I got a carbon fibre end can which has a few marks and scratches. It doesn't appear to have the clear resin finish that some CF has.

Is there any thing I can clean it with? It's not a smooth surface and you can feel the weave so if I use something like t-cut will that fill all the gaps and make it looke shit? I suppose I could rinse it after?

It's a gianelli End can for a cagiva mito.

T-Cut won't do much for it and I doubt you'll polish it to much of a shine. I'd be tempted just to soap and rinse it myself.

I had the same problem on the end can on a bike I bought recently and found that some "Gel Cleaner" that I have worked well, (seems to work well on everything ). It's supposed to be for Fibreglass and came from the Halfrauds bargain bin. when I got it, the can was green, faded and dull, the Gel Cleaner seems to have put some life back into it.
