Removing a tank protector

Whats the best and safest way of removing these? Theres a red one on my red tank. Fancy either black or clear.

Use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive and peel it off.

Sticky stuff remover will clean up anything that's left over of the glue. Thumbs Up

Paraffin or petrol could remove the residue
(assuming you can test that it doesn't damage your paintwork, and that you clean the area thoroughly afterwards).

I used the hairdryer method to remove all the logos from my GPZ some time ago before I repainted it. Thumbs Up
