Same place as last year I thought it said in the opening posts, at the Giant Slush Puppy cafe on the beach front on Madeira Drive - opposite the arches pier end...

Anyway guys, lots of bikes been past this morning, the sky here is blue at the moment, Brighton is only down the road... and it's quite warm.

Have fun, I'm not working, but I also don't have a bike just yet, nor do I have my bike kit here...so can't even thumb it down. Coming in the car would just mean hours sat in the car going nowhere fast...and I ain't up for that!!!

Where the fk did you go? We went straight on at that roundabout and you were beside me and kept going round. Glad you made it home safe. I'm uploading the pics and will share when they are done.

well, in true welsh style i went the other way (right) and realised so turned round the roundabout and came back and turned off the right way by which time there was no sign of anyone, so i turned off at the petrol station on the left and carried on through some nice roads to chichester

stopped to try help a biker that blew off his exhaust who told me to follow the road which lead to 32 i think, beautifull ride tho.

looking forward to getting lost again !! Smile Thumbs Up

Getting lost is always fun. You end up finding some nice roads. Had you carried straight on that road we took it would have taken you to the A272 which was the road we all went down. Harry and his dad took off and I ended up stuck behind this caravan for about 20 miles. By the time I got home there was a text from him. They had made it back 30 mins before me.

Found out the VTR can go airborne 2 up though. Shocked

This bridge launched the pinky one off the ground. You got to have a go on that bridge running from east to west.

I was on tippytoes with both feet. With 1 foot down I'm sure it would have been fine. Bloody comfortable just sitting on it though. I can see the appeal.

Excellent run down today I thought, though the bikes on the front such as....

https://farm7.static.flickr.com/6191/6137675216_a44662bc5e_m.jpg and... https://farm7.static.flickr.com/6081/6137665182_9528f7b870_m.jpg and https://farm7.static.flickr.com/6160/6137132261_1ac8a16a00_m.jpg

were matched equally by the lucky b*astards that rode these down and parked them on the park opposite the palace...

https://farm7.static.flickr.com/6161/6137682022_e615f9828e_m.jpgthis looked far better in the flesh than this photo, the blue and cream just looked stunning.....

then there was this...https://farm7.static.flickr.com/6152/6137679132_a498554d4f_m.jpg which belonged to this... https://farm7.static.flickr.com/6157/6137680834_7cbfd5dc4f_m.jpg

And were did all those Harley's come from ?, it was like every other bl00dy bike on the front was a hideously airbrushed chrome fridge on two wheels....

But it was good to see that not everyone has a 11 reg track missile, in spite of what most monthly mag's would have us believe...

Just met up with a few people. FBMBMX (what ever his name is lol) JD and Bishy briefly, Dazzaa.

They were the only forum people I met up with. Missed everyone else. Bishy lost them between the ACE and Brighton.

Good to meet you all there, the weather was good, but the turn out was poor due to the scare of rain.

Spent most the day with Nowhere Elsium, then my Dad turned up and the banta flew.

Enjoyed the whole day.

Thumbs Up

I was roped into taking the kids to Wakehurst Place (near Ardingly) so didn't make it down until after 3pm. Noticed loads of speed traps / coppers lying in wait on the A23 for the bikers riding home as I was coming back to Brighton. I think I may have been caught (in the car) by one speed camera on the bridge just before you get into Brighton (not a usual place).

Swapped the car for the bike and rode into town. Had a nose at the bikes, saw the wall of death at Brands a couple of years back - v impressive. As it was so windy on the seafront I went and explored the countryside before dinner which was enjoyable.

Hopefully the weather will be better for Brightona in October (ever optimistic).
